PROPULSION

  • Main – 174 HP Lugger 668T turbocharged 6 cylinder diesel with wet exhaust system

  • Fuel tanks – two fiberglass main fuel tanks totaling 1410 gallons with one centerline aluminum day tank at 70 gallons which will gravity feed from main wing tanks.  Sight gauges for both main fuel tanks and day tank.  

  • Drive – ZF W-220 transmission, 3:96:1 ratio, 2 1/4 in. Aquamet 17 propeller shaft, 4-blade bronze propeller, 34-in. diameter x 30-in. pitch

  • Naiad 254 Roll Control System with electronic Datum controls and 9 sq. ft. fins.

  • Nordhavn paravane stabilizer system.

  • Back-up – Lugger L844D 40 HP diesel wing engine with separate 10-gallon day tank and independent off center shaft and Gori propeller. 

  • Hynautic hydraulic steering system

  • Sidepower 10.7 HP 24-volt bow thruster and stern thrusters.

ELECTRICAL - D.C.

  • 24-volt DC system throughout except small generator starting and electronics batteries which are 12 volt.  

  • 6 x 255 AH (8D) Lifeline AGM batteries (1530 AH) volt deep cycle ‘house’ battery system.

  • 2 x 4D batteries for main engine starting.

  • 2 x Gp 31 Lifeline AGM batteries for bow thruster

  • 2 x Gp 31 Lifeline AGM batteres for stern thruster

  • 2 x Gp 31 Lifeline AGM batteries for 12 kW generator and wing engine starting

  • 1 x Gp 31 Lifeline AGM battery for 6 kW generator starting (paralleled with electronics battery)

ELECTRICAL - A.C.

  • Xantrex/Trace SW4024MC2 4 kw inverter/battery charger (with spare) and remote panel in wheel house.  We use this solely as an inverter, and rely on the MasterVolt chargers (see below) for charging batteries. 

  • 190-250 volt Master Volt 24-volt 50/60 hz 100 amp battery charger

  • 190-250 volt MasterVolt 24-volt 50/60 hz 50 amp battery charger  

  • Shorepower inlets fore and aft: 50 amp. and 30 amp with Olsun isolation transformer; separate 50 amp air conditioning inlet

AIR CONDITIONING  

  • Marine Air 60,000 BTU air conditioning/recverse cycle heating system with:

     

    •  2 x 12,000 BTUs units for saloon and galley

    • 1 x 16,000 BTUs unit for wheel house

    • 2 x 10,000 BTUs units for staterooms

    • Two separate air conditioning salt water pumps, one supplying saloon, galley and pilot house compressor units and the other supplying the stateroom compressor units.  

PLUMBING

  • 400 gallon baffled fiberglass fresh water tank

  •  600 gallon per day (25 GPH) Village Marine Tech reverse osmosis system (watermaker)

  • 11-gallon water heater for 240 volt and heat exchanger operation

  • 2 x Headhunter X-caliber 24-volt fresh water pumps (main and plumbed-in-place backup) operating at 80 PSI

  • Headhunter X-caliber 24-volt salt water pump for washdown, fire-fighting and backup flushing

  • ½-inch Whale brand tubing system with all Whale fittings

  • Fresh and salt water washdown bow and cockpit, fresh water washdown boat deck

ANCHORING

  • Anchors: 110 pound Delta (400 ft. 3/8 in. high test chain),  FX-55 Fortress with 50 ft. 3/8 in. high test chain and 400 ft. 3/4 in. Yacht Braid nylon

  • Double bow roller.

  • Maxwell 3500 vertical windlass, with chain gypsy and rope capstan
